Aileen joined Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital in 2025, bringing her background in the medical field and a lifelong love of animals to the team. Drawn to the clinic’s compassionate community, she’s excited to combine her passion for helping others with caring for pets.
Before entering veterinary medicine, Aileen worked at the UC Botanical Garden in Berkeley, where she developed a deep appreciation for nurturing both nature and wildlife. Her goal with every client and patient is to ensure they feel heard, cared for, and confident that their pets are in good hands.
At home, Aileen shares her space with her housemate and a cat named Oliver—who enjoys stroller walks and watching Fantastic Mr. Fox. Guided by her philosophy to “simply be kind,” Aileen strives to bring empathy, curiosity, and positivity into everything she does.
