Zepora (she/her)

Veterinary Assistant

Zepora brings a unique background in human medical care to her role at GLVH, having worked as an EMT for over two years before following her lifelong passion for animal care. Growing up in the East Bay, she spent her childhood caring for neighborhood pets and even helping with some training! Her decision to transition from human to veterinary medicine reflects her deep-seated connection with animals and desire to provide them with compassionate care. Zepora believes in making every client feel heard and understood, ensuring they receive thorough attention during their visits. At home, she shares her space with Shumi, a curious Blue Russian cat who embodies what pets mean to her – a cherished companion who creates unbreakable bonds through daily routines and unconditional love. When she’s not at work, Zepora stays active playing lacrosse, soccer, and tennis, though she admits her growing book collection often wins the competition for her free time. Her philosophy of “expect nothing, earn everything” guides her approach to veterinary care and life in general.
