Veterinary Assistant
Charlene brings her Animal Science education from UC Davis and a passion for helping animals to her role at GLVH. Her journey in animal care began in 2021 at the UC Davis Swine Facility, where she gained hands-on experience in animal husbandry, health monitoring, and preventive care. Living by the motto “look good and feel good in order to do good,” Charlene focuses on making every veterinary visit as stress-free as possible for pets and their people. She shares her home with her mom, brother, and beloved dog, Trigger, who brings joy, excitement, and occasional chaos to their daily lives. Charlene was drawn to GLVH by its supportive team environment and dedication to patient care. When she’s not caring for animals, she enjoys satisfying her sweet tooth – ask her about her favorite fish-shaped (but not flavored) ice cream sandwiches!
