Ella (she/her)
Client Service Representative
Ella chose to work in the veterinary field because she has been around animals her entire life and can’t not be around them. Her mother was a vet receptionist and assistant during Ella’s childhood, and one of her earliest memories is eagerly identifying dog breeds behind the reception desk. Ella’s veterinary experience comes from a lifetime of being surrounded by pets, including dogs, cats, and exotics like bunnies, tortoises, parakeets, and chickens. Her goal at Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital is to establish a positive and welcoming vibe at the start of every visit to help lessen the anxiety of both clients and pets. Ella lives by the mantra, “The universe always has a plan.” In her hometown of San Jose, she has a 5-year-old miniature English bulldog named Leia and a 16-year-old cat named Cicely. In the East Bay, she lives with her best friend Meg and their metaphorical pet, a White’s tree frog named Pancake. Ella believes her pets often reflect her personality and considers Leia one of her soulmates. She joined GLVH because of the staff’s warmth and care for their clients, patients, and each other.
