Feli (She/Her)
Veterinary Assistant
Feli joined the Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital team in 2026 as a Veterinary Assistant. She earned her Associate’s degree in Animal Technology from San Joaquin Valley College in Fresno, California, and has been working with animals since 2021. Her early experience included working in a mixed small- and large-animal practice that also cared for pocket pets, reptiles, and birds, giving her exposure to a wide variety of species and helping build a strong foundation in veterinary care.
Feli was drawn to veterinary medicine by a lifelong interest in animals and a curiosity about the different types of care required across species and body systems. One of her goals with every client and patient is to make sure they leave their interaction with her feeling seen, supported, and cared for.
What attracted Feli to Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital was its warm, welcoming culture, opportunities for growth, and the strong sense of respect and teamwork between doctors and staff. She especially values that kindness is such an important part of the hospital’s culture.
Outside of work, Feli is very close with her parents and three siblings and shares her life with a dog and a parrot. Having grown up in a small farming community, animals have always been an important part of her world. She especially appreciates the companionship, and unconditional love pets bring to our lives.
