Veterinary Assistant
Mia joins our team as a Veterinary Assistant, bringing a lifelong passion for animals and a deep appreciation for the bond they share with people. Her journey began in childhood and grew even stronger after adopting her family dog, Munchi, from a local shelter in 2013. Caring for Munchi helped her understand just how meaningful and life-changing that connection can be.
With 15 years of equestrian experience, Mia has learned to anticipate and understand horses’ behavior, gaining valuable lessons in trust, compassion, and patience—qualities she carries into every interaction at the hospital. Although this is her first time working in a veterinary setting, she is enthusiastic about learning, growing, and strengthening her skills each day.
Mia’s goal with every client and patient is to build trust, show compassion, and create a positive, reassuring experience. She strives to ensure every client feels heard and every pet is cared for with dedication and respect. Guided by the philosophy of hard work, compassion, and continual learning, she believes animals and their families deserve the very best care every day.
At home, Mia lives with her family and her beloved dog Munchi, whom she adores like a sister. She loves being part of GLVH because of the skilled, compassionate team around her and the opportunities to flourish in her role. Mia is excited to be here and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their people.
