Veterinary Assistant
Ryder, a passionate animal lover, has dedicated their life to caring for a wide range of animals, inspired by their naturalist cowboy father. They grew up handling hawks, horses, snakes, rabbits, and more. Although their career began in art history, working with museums and private collections, their heart has always been with animals. Recently, Ryder embraced this passion by joining Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital, where they feel fortunate to work in a supportive and sincere community. Their philosophy centers on authenticity and empathy, ensuring every client and patient feels valued and respected. Ryder and their partner share their home with two dogs, two cats, a tortoise, and a rabbit. Outside of work, they enjoy making music, playing guitar, creating art, and reading non-fiction. Ryder looks forward to growing their relationships within the veterinary community and supporting the animals they love.
