Veterinary Assistant
Steffi joined the Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital team as a Veterinary Assistant, bringing a lifelong passion for animals and a kind, compassionate approach to patient care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and is excited to continue building her clinical skills as she works toward a career in veterinary medicine.
Her journey with animals began in 2020 when she started shadowing at several veterinary clinics during college breaks. What began as a nerve-wracking experience quickly became an inspiring one as she watched veterinary teams make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families. Those experiences confirmed that veterinary medicine was the path she wanted to pursue.
Steffi’s goal is to help every client and patient to the best of her ability while treating everyone with kindness, compassion, and respect. She lives by the philosophy, “Have courage and be kind,” and strives to bring that mindset to every interaction.
Originally from Taiwan, Steffi came to the United States as an international student in 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her parents, brother, and beloved Shiba Inu, Meijiang. More than just a pet, Meijiang is her best friend, her “little sister,” and a constant source of comfort and emotional support.
One of the things Steffi loves most about Grand Lake Veterinary Hospital is the welcoming, supportive culture created by her teammates. She immediately felt at home and is excited to continue learning, growing, and caring for pets alongside such a dedicated team.
